About me: the journey this far;

first act: Eskisehir, Turkey. I'm born. Don't remember the event, but my parents swear I was there when it happened. I trust them.

second act: The city of Konya (think Rumi & the Whirling Dervishes). I begin training in the ancient crafts of cinema, photography and motion design. Somehow, my parents still trust me.

a skip and a BIG jump: The USA. My wife Asli and I discover the vegetarian cheesesteak and our jaws drop. Imagine our faces when the Emmys say yes.

same place, new name: A little girl named Elif, then her kid brother Burak give me the official title "Daddy." They remind me that I was there when it happened.

right here, now: I enjoy living and working near New York City. It keeps me hungry and foolish. My favorite buzz words are tactile and juxtaposition--different mediums, different ideas, cultures, traditions.
